I'm a software engineer with 9+ years of shipping production systems — and these days most of my work sits at the intersection of AI and product engineering. I started as a self-taught developer and never stopped widening the stack.

I don't think of myself as a "frontend person" anymore. On a normal week I'm writing TypeScript and Python, building services in Node/NestJS and .NET, shipping Android with Kotlin and cross-platform apps with Flutter, wiring Postgres/Supabase, and putting it all behind Docker on Linux. I've built for the web, for desktop (macOS and Windows), for mobile, and for GPUs.
What I enjoy most is owning a problem end to end: designing the data model, building the service, making the interface feel effortless, then automating the boring parts with AI. I've led teams, mentored interns into their first dev jobs, and I care more about mindset and judgement than any single framework.
Scan or upload an interior video, reconstruct it on your own GPU, and walk through the 3D model in the browser.

A scientific, media and conservation platform for Iran's nature — species, habitats and knowledge, with sources that hold up.
A React data-grid library published to npm, developed as a monorepo with Storybook and a full test suite.
A multi-tenant education platform split into separate learner, educator and administration apps over Dockerised microservices.
Hossein Kavand is a software engineer and AI developer based in Tehran, Iran, with more than 9 years of professional experience. He builds complete products end to end — backend services, web and mobile applications, infrastructure, and AI-driven automation — and currently works independently on AI-powered platforms.
He designs and ships production software: backend services in Node.js/NestJS and .NET, web applications in React, Next.js, Vue and Svelte, Android apps in Kotlin, cross-platform apps in Flutter, and AI systems built on large language models — including retrieval pipelines, agents and automated content generation. He also runs the infrastructure: PostgreSQL and Supabase, Docker, CI/CD and Linux servers.
TypeScript, JavaScript and Python are his primary languages, alongside C#/.NET and Kotlin. He works with React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, Svelte, Node.js, NestJS, Express, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, GraphQL, Docker, and the OpenAI and Vercel AI SDKs.
He has worked at Segal Mehr (2023–2025), Espad (2021–2023), Apsy (2019–2021) and ITSaaz (2017–2019), and has delivered projects for companies including migRaven in Germany, Wenex, SelStage, Kara, Almas Paytakht, Boonoob and Asia Startup. At ITSaaz he helped build nationwide government platforms and led a front-end team.
